About the Historische Tuin Aalsmeer

The Historical Garden Aalsmeer shows the public how the famous flower nurseries in Aalsmeer were founded.
We have a collection of plants which were the most important of the history of the nurseries. It started with the growing of fruittrees like apples and pears and strawbarries. Also we have a collection of lilacs, for in Aalsmeer growers are forcing lilacs to flower in winter. Of course do we have roses and are specialized in old cutroses.
