The Villarino Park is located in Zavalla City, Santa Fe Province, Argentina. It belongs to the Agronomy Faculty; Rosario National University (UNR). It`s land surface is of 100 Has. It’s a park 75 years old, and its area houses 47 botanic families with 160 species (1985 census). At present; it represents a refuge of a lot of botanic species inside a region with a deep agro-industrial development.
It also serves as a fauna reservory, with for example 60 birds species recorded, belonging to 12 orders and 29 families. It shelter too, small mammals, amphibian and reptilians.
It was professed as a “Protected Cultural Area”, administrated by the U.N.R.
